Trump is obviously off in the head. Yes I know there are rules about what mental health professionals are supposed to do. But there is a point at which you have to say someone is off in the head when it's obvious.

Like for instance: Would anyone complain if some psychiatrist offered the opinion that Hitler was off in the head when he hadn't personally examined him?

Trump is off in the head. It's obvious. None of you should even NEED mental health professionals opining that to see it.
You mean allowing for the fact that Hitler had 10 million people deliberately exterminated?

Godwin's Law.

Is there a Mao corollary to Godwin's Law?

At that point, medical expertise isn't necessary. Just a general consensus.

Not that I know of but there is HI54UNI's corollary to Godwin's Law about the Koch Brothers.

That's my point

Most psychiatrists can't make a diagnosis of mental illness until after someone has done something psychotic

For the record, I don't think Hitler was mentally ill. He was cunning, brilliant, and evil.

Jesus you guys are some of the most myopic motherfakkers Ive ever seen

Hitler was brilliant - both politically and sociologically

In terms of military tactics he was a neophyte - that doesnt mean he wasn't brilliant

It also has nothing to do with whether he was mentally ill or not

I just got back from a week in Dallas...
I politically polled a few of my Texas buddies (and I love them dearly)

As stated by CID
They also believe that Trump has repealed the Clean Water Act

Which got a laugh out of me because they're thrilled by more relaxed environmental restrictions
when I told them that he didn't they didn't believe me

THIS...!!!
Is awesome
I'm starting to really take a liking to "fake news"
What a time to be alive

Trump is off in the head. It's obvious. None of you should even NEED mental health professionals opining that to see it.

The idea is illustrating a principle by taking an extreme example. The principle is that there is a point at which we can say that someone is mentally ill based on their public behavior.

And as you know I think that point has been passed with Donald Trump. He doesn't have to have gotten as far as Hitler. Hitler's just, in this case, the extreme used to illustrate the principle. But he's past the point.

The guy is seriously off. And I can't believe any of you guys are even willing to argue otherwise.

I was inspired to post this by the "Things I Hate" thread in the Locker Room. Didn't want to post it there because it's political.

But, truly, one thing I hate is when I hear pundits say stuff like "the American People elected him because..." or "the American People elected him to..." or "that's why the American People elected him..." with respect to Donald Trump.

The "American People" did not elect Trump. More of the American People voted for the other major party candidate than voted for Trump. Trump being President is an artifact of the Electoral College system. Everybody knew the system going in and he won it. No issue there.

But he's not the choice of the "American People."

Yeah. Yeah. And the team with the most hits don't always win baseball games. And the team with the most offensive yardage don't always win football games.

Funny enough, Bannon is the one guy liberals have wanted Trump to put in the dog house...because he might put Muslims and jews in concentration camps...or something.

Yeah good luck with this.
The thing is...
All Americans making over $400k a year have a tax lawyer
as well a business accountant or specialist

I see this first hand every day
My brother has 7 Llc's and an S-Corp
He doesn't pay anywhere near 39%

And why would he..?
The system is built this way
