Not related to 2024
But
Remember when Trump spend months - a year plus - talking about how the woke NFL was going to go bankrupt and no one would watch and everyone would boycott?
The divisional rounds last weekend averaged over 40 million viewers. The highest on record dating back to 1988. The Chiefs/Bills averaged 50.4 million - the most ever for a divisional or wildcard game.
I watch about zero NFL anymore. Three hours of commercials for
maybe 15 minutes of action...might as well watch soccer
I'm not claiming to watch a lot of it, but I'll watch the Vikings and bits and pieces of other games.
I love soccer and watch the hell out of it. I watch every single game of my clubs (Tottenham and Minnesota United) and then a shit ton of other EPL games, Bundisliga, The Championship, League 1, etc.
I watch almost zero baseball outside of the Twins. I watch as much/more cricket than baseball. Same level of "boring" but cricket, especially T20 and club-based, is so much faster-paced.
