It's creepy to video someone over something as simple as possibly disobeying a leash law. What's the videoer going to do next? Turn the video over the police so that the dog owner can be classified as “politically unreliable”?

The dog owner's reaction was also foolish. You're in a public place so creepy or not the videoer probably has the right to video you. Just put your leash on your dog and leave.

To me, that was a stupid and foolish encounter and the outrage is manufactured. There is no way to know if the dog owner was scared because the videoer was an African American or if she just used that term to describe the person she felt was threatening her. In today's "woke" society she might have been more alarmed if the videoer was a toxic, creepy, older white man.

It is interesting that the video and reactions to it help to illustrate the levels of victimhood. African Americans are clearly a higher class of victim than females.

Was on my patio yesterday with my binoculars (got some good spotting, will post on the birding thread) and a group of teen girls decided to come hang out on my drug bridge. I put away my glasses because I didn't want to be the creep.
