Sounds kind of butthurt. You don’t have to believe any of that if you don’t want to. This isn’t Russia. Is this Russia? No...this isn’t Russia.
Let’s break it down...
WWII allies were indeed anti fascist. That doesn’t make them the same as kids on the street today but I’m pretty sure they were also against fascism.
Riots by definition aren’t peaceful. Protests and rallies can be.
Viruses Don’t kill you in either location but you can get them from both.
Police make cities more safe but can also be dangerous to some.
Senility is tough to measure. The system is what produces poor choices. Reagan was senile.
Don’t know the story behind the last one. Privately owned papers should be allowed to determine what they publish tho.

The last one is the NY Times asked Tom Cotton to publish an OpEd and then fell all over themselves when the woke scolds attacked them for allowing his piece to be published.kalm wrote: ↑Sun Jun 07, 2020 7:04 amSounds kind of butthurt. I was watching an ANTIFA video and found out it really pisses them off when you say An-TEE-Fa...
According to the speaker, that’s how you identify a plant...
It’s pronounced An-ta-fa...

Unfortunately, it doesn't surprise me that you struggle with tongue-in-cheek snarkyism. I don't have all day to explain everything to you, but I'll do my best to hit a few of the high points.
1. The Allies in WWII killed real actual Nazis, not the made up ones that the kids of today have invented.
2. Riots aren't peaceful, but "peaceful protests" don't include burning large chunks of cities to the ground.
Here is a video or two that might help you understand.
3. When governors of Blue States and mayors of Blue Cities outlaw the ability to attend church services and telling congregants that they need to #stayhome #staysafe and be more considerate of others, while the next very week allowing and in many cases actively taking part in street protests sends a very strange self-owning message.
That's just the tip of the iceberg, but a good starting point. If you need further assistance, maybe some others on here can help you.

Those people didn't wake up one day and decide to become fascists. It was a process, like we're seeing today.
Time to nip it in the bud before we've got a full-blown problem on our hands.
Even Holocaust survivors and German immigrants have spoken of the similarities between today's America and the changing attitudes during the Weimar Republic. I guess we should ignore their warnings too?

So you it’s not so much that you disagree with any of my rebuttals you’re just defending a semi-illogical and poorly constructed meme.Baldy wrote: ↑Sun Jun 07, 2020 8:53 amUnfortunately, it doesn't surprise me that you struggle with tongue-in-cheek snarkyism. No one will be sent anywhere, but it needs to be made clear that racism and fascism isn't the future of America.
This country is supposed to be a beacon for freedom, especially for the world's poor and oppressed. Be glad that so many people - young and old alike - understand it's their sacred duty to keep the American experiment alive. The resistance and protests smell like liberty to me.
I genuinely believe the next two decades is going to see America's grand resurgence.

How will we see the grand resurgence? Don't spend too much time on it, but how about a couple of specifics?∞∞∞ wrote: ↑Sun Jun 07, 2020 9:18 am![]()
