Real primaries prevent this situation and sharpen a candidate. You’ll see the DNC clamp down hard now against an open primary that would actually be a great thing for the Dems to hold at this point. At the very least they’ll fight hard to ensure if it’s not Biden, it will be Kamala.

Real primaries prevent this situation and sharpen a candidate. You’ll see the DNC clamp down hard now against an open primary that would actually be a great thing for the Dems to hold at this point. At the very least they’ll fight hard to ensure if it’s not Biden, it will be Kamala.

But to answer your question, most of the msm would be harder on Trump while Fox and right wing news would treat him with kid gloves like MSNBC treats Biden.

Part of that is understandable, as even without cognitive and psychological issues Trump’s policies are a threat. Part of it is that large corporations - media ownership, advertisers, and financial markets like stability.
