At the time I wanted to be a meteorologist and learned all I could about hurricanes

I later learned that the mb reading was a critical one to watch...

Irma was as low as 922 mb as it worked up the coast of Cuba...

1960 Donna and the 1919 Florida Keys had similar paths before landfall in the Florida Keys.
