The House ethics committee is currently investigating seven African-American lawmakers — more than 15 percent of the total in the House. And an eighth black member, Rep. Jesse Jackson Jr. (D-Ill.), would be under investigation if the Justice Department hadn’t asked the committee to stand down.
Not a single white lawmaker is currently the subject of a full-scale ethics committee probe.
If they're being probed because they are legitimalely crooked, or have been abducted by aliens, that's OK.
If they're being probed because they are black, well, that's a different thang alltogether.
I've never understood why the white male elitist in this country are so afraid of women or minorities that are educated, well spoken, and......well........matter in the big picture.

Case in point. Charlie Rangel. Are you shitting me? They are bitching about him being investigated? Dude helps make the tax laws and is a complete dodger of paying his own taxes.

I would have no issue with that, for I have always used an accountant - and that is the point.
Charlie Rangel has so much in property and income that he must have someone who knows all his finances. If he doesn't, I sure as hell hope they investigate his prior returns. But back to his financial person. Why wasn't this person consulted when he needed to let everyone know about all his income? I believe he said that he forgot. If it is too much for the man who writes the laws to remember what he is making income on, then maybe he should hire someone to keep it all straight for him.
