The suspect wanted in connection for the murders of 4 Washington police officers was sentenced in 1989 to 108 years in prison for a long list of convictions.

Then Arkansas Governor and former and potentially future Presidential candidate Mike Huckabee commuted his sentence in 2000 to 47 years, five months and 19 days making him immediately eligible for parole.

The following year he was arrested for a parole violation and sent back to prison until 2004.

While Huckabee made the mistake of commuting the sentence, the system has also failed society. How is it that a man with a commuted sentence of 47 years for a series of violent crimes can see freedom after just 11 years?

Our entire justice system needs a complete overhaul.

Huckabee's questionable pardons were starting to surface in 2008.

Huckabee issued almost a thousand pardons-more than all the surrounding states combined. He pardoned dozens of murders and rapist.

This is not the first person to committ a murder after being pardoned by huckles. Willie Dumand raped and murdered six weeks after being pardoned by huckabee - huckabee claimed Dumond had found Jesus so was now a good person.

WIth any luck this will keep Huckabee from running for President. He would make GWB look conservative when it comes to spending.

SEATTLE – A sheriff's spokesman in Washington state says Seattle police have fatally shot the man suspected of gunning down four police officers.

Pierce County sheriff's spokesman Ed Troyer says Maurice Clemmons was shot and killed early Tuesday in a Seattle neighborhood. Authorities suspected Clemmons of killing the four officers at a coffee shop Sunday morning in Lakewood, a suburb about 35 miles south of Seattle.

Troyer says Seattle police found Clemmons after Pierce County authorities supplied addresses of possible hiding spots.

Yeah its always good for cops (douchebags) to kill a guy and be judge, jury and executioner.


The fact that the guy they killed ("allegedly") shot 4 cops isnt that big of a deal. The big deal is that he killed before, went to prison and was let out. If your going to kill people after you get out, cops are a good place to start at least they are armed but I would suggest politicians first then cops.


Please remember when reading my posts about cops that because they act like their lives are better than everyone elses (hes a cop killer ) I actually care less about their lives to try and make things even.

Does anyone recall the Michael Dukakis/Willie Horton scandal? I hope the Dems who defended Dukakis on that matter are now defending Huckabee.

Not even similar CitadelGrad. Dukakis did not personally grant Horton freedom. He VETOED the bill that allowed murderers to be eligible for the furlough program.

Two of Huckabees "converted to Christians so now ok to pardon" buddies have now committed additional murders.

They won't. Especially since Huckabee personally approved this while Dukakis opposed the Horton release

I gotta defend Huckabee here. He probably has no chance at winning the Republican nomination now... but, I don't think the pardon was that unjustified. The guy was sentenced to 100 years in prison for crimes he committed as a minor and none of the crimes were murder or rape. Certainly shitty luck that the guy goes out and does this... but, it's certainly not Huckabee's fault.
