Ole Pete continued to blame "9/11" as the reason the Bush administration HAD to run up a deficit after inheriting a surplus from the Clinton years. Yeah.....like we HAD to spend all that money in Iraq.

Alcee Hastings was impeached and removed from office as a federal judge on the grounds of corruption in 1989. Several years later, he was elected to Congress. Go figure.
