My grandfather (mom's dad) worked for the CCC. Kept food on their table during the depression.

The Federal Agency I work for has its roots with the CCC.

CCC built my favorite parkway in the Blue Ridge Mountains. I need very little excuse to take an 8 hour drive up and down it whenever I am up in Boone.

Now THAT''S a gummint program I could get behind. If you want a job, fine. Let's build something useful that will be our legacy down the road. None of this government cheese I gots to have my cheese puffs and sit on my fat a$$ watching Springer on my 72 inch plasma, Bitches.

bet you've heard a ton of stories about life in a CCC work camp just like I did when I was growing up

Not really, OSBF. Grandpa Steiner was a cool guy, but he kept his thoughts mostly hidden behind a steady diet of Pall Malls, Seagrams and coffee.
