Looked like your stereotypical gristled up old Conk, too. Sour puss, hearing aid, "Support Our Troops" magnetic ribbon, rusted up '96 Olds Ciera, smoking a cigarette.

Best one I've seen lately was a McCain-Palin bumper sticker cut in half so only Palin was left.

Just goes to show the ability to sell and revise history far out-weighs the crappy policies Reagan implemented.

Poor schmuck probably doesn't even realize that Reagan inacted the largest tax cuts and increases in history. Much less Reagan's spending habits or that he had more criminal investigations, indictments, and convictions than any other administration.

:ohno:

Reagan fixed the economy with Carter's economic quarterback...What happened in the 30 years between Carter and George W. Bush both saying we need to end our dependence on middle east oil...Carter put solar panels on the White house and Reagan removed them.

Not saying Carter was a good president but...

Carter's blunder was bringing too many of his Georgia cronnies with him to DC. His staff was ill prepared and ill equiped to effectively do the job. I think he might have been able to be an effective leader with a better support staff behind him.
