While we argue about God, guns, religion, gays, terrorists, etc..........the Japanese are busy developing see-through goldfish!

You seen Hen, you're suggestion represents american ingenuity at it's finest. Someone comes up with a kick ass invention that combines the raw power and speed of Harley with the utility of John Deere and you take it one step further and enhance the leisure opportunity with beer. I'm pretty certain it's ideas like these that helped us win all of the great wars.

Now if Japan develops see through fish with freaking lazers on their head...I might take notice.

But until then. America still #1 :thumb:

Am I the only one who cannot actually see through the gold fish? The fins may be translucent, but until the entire body is also, this isn't much different than some of those wacky fish that have been found miles underwater or in caves that have never seen the light of day.

Typical conservative response. Regressive, no fun, and unable to think outside the box. :kisswink:

I actually had one of these bouncing around my feet yesterday afternoon. Cute, but slightly annoying.

Please Jeff, they are the ones that are behind the times. The Children's Hospital Boston developed as "see through"/"Transparent" zebrafish over a year ago in order to study human disease.

American researchers have even created a "boneless" zebrafish that is even more transparent. So they made a transparent goldfish... big whoop.

I was going to say "it's a BMW, not a Buick", because my BMW-obsessed friend SWORE BMW would NEVER put cupholders in their cars.....but alas, I believe they caved in a few years ago.

GODDAMN RIGHT! Little bastards don't know jacksh!t about the Cherrurr Tiegs and the Srimsruit Issurre!!

Oh, and BTW... When it comes to incorrectness, I don't hold a candle to the Japanese who have a perfectly acceptable word (to them)... it is "GAIJIN", which literally means "barbarian". They use it to decribe anyone who is not Japanese, much in the way that Klukkers use the "N" word.

I'm a gaijin, you're a gaijin, we're ALL gaijin to them.

Gawd, I loved Cheryl Tiegs back in the day. Still do. Even if "they" droop to the floor. ;)
