chalk up one seat saved for the Dems... Dodd was in surprising trouble - a retirement at this point shows he got his polling back (we do a lot of polling in early dec and again in early jan)

I'm not too upset about the prospect of Blumenthal's winning the seat. It's great to see Douchebag Dodd, that shameless "friend of Angelo," leave office.

Any state that is capable of electing one Dodd can easily elect another Dudd.
