A successful attorney:

* Mr. Parker began his career as a Financial Analyst for Rockwell International.
* Mr. Parker was nominated by President George W. Bush and unanimously confirmed with bipartisan support by the United States Senate, as the first ever Assistant Secretary for Civil Rights at the United States Department of Agriculture.

* Mr. Parker served as General Counsel of the United States Office of Personnel Management in Washington, DC, and he served in the White House as Special Assistant to President George H. W. Bush.

Mayor Parker believes deeply in public service:

* He served on the Board of Adjustments for the Town of Paradise Valley.
* He serves on the Salvation Army National Advisory Board, and the Greater Phoenix Salvation Army Advisory Board.
* He serves on the Board of Directors of the Christian Family Care Agency, a small adoption agency serving the needs of children in the State of Arizona.

* He also serves on the board of directors for Starshine Academy, a charter school serving some of Arizona’s most at-risk children.

Education

* Mayor. Parker received his Juris Doctorate degree from Georgetown University Law Center, in Washington, DC where he served as Editor in Chief of the Georgetown American Criminal Law Review. He also received his B.S. in finance from California State Univesity at Long Beach.

Looks like we might need a vault copy of his birth certificate. He doesn't look very American to me.
