I'd be surprised to see any changes at this point. Who knows, it's possible for me to be wrong. :) I just don't see it being overturned and the decision given to the states.

No shit. Hoagie and Hen: you, and your church, vehemently oppose abortion, while simultaneously opposing methods that reduce the number of people who get abortions. And don't give me that "don't have sex before marriage" bullshit; that's so unrealistic on a nationwide scale it's absurd.

Jeff, if you understood one third of what you think you understand about Catholics...you'd be entertaining...

But you don't...and you aren't... :coffee:

Of course I am going to complain about both abortion and welfare moms. I'm also opposed to letting mothers give painless deaths to infants that they do not feel that they cannot take care of. Does that also forfeit my right to complain about welfare moms?

I don't think anyone believes there aren't advantages to legal abortion. I don't think anyone believes there are no advantages to eugenics, either. But that doesn't make it right.

I agree with 89hen! Hundreds of thousands of unwanted kids being born into this country is the exact key to march this nation into prominence it once knew. :thumb:

I am going to celebrate this monumental decision tonight by raping some chick I drug at a night club tonight, knocking her up and then telling her she CAN have an abortion but I dont want her to.

If nothing else it will confuse the fu*k out of her and I will get some sex out of the deal, so its a win win situation.

Why is this so hard to figure out?

It all really comes down to 1 personal question:

1. When does human life begin?

If you believe life begins at conception, then abortion is murder.

If you believe that life begins at birth, then abortion is ok.

Religion and politics don't matter.
