Regression Vs Progression, what does this country need most?

Who will be ultimately exposed as selfishly power hungry in spite of the state of our Countries well being, the progressives or the regressives?

8-)

A point to ponder..

Six inch grouping at 300 yards... I know damn well who would win.

P.S. Your assumptions are pure pigshit.

Based on that, are there any true progressives in Washington?

Neither party is forward looking, innovative, pragmatic, fair, respectful or patriotic.

Both parties are short-sighted, afraid of new ideas, closed-minded, selfish, arrogant and xenophobic.

Progressive is nothing more than a new name for Liberals...

They understand marketing...liberal is not accepted...so they simply change the brand name to Progressive...

Progressives do not exist in our political system. It's the Haves and Have Nots. Want to take a look at a Regressive...watch Glenn Beck.

I'm not too sure if a lack of support for something means you are arrogant or xenophobic (for example). I'll all for legal immigration, but just because I think people should emigrate legally, doesn't mean I have an irrational fear of those that don't. :twocents: :coffee:

Hence Wedgie's unexamined assumptions are pure pigshit.

Looks to me, from reading your little chart, that the Democrats are not Progressives.

Look at all the people responding to a thread purporting to stimulate debate, but actually just intended to be snarky and insulting.

Why don't we start one titled, "Conservatives vs. Cocksuckers..."?

Wedgie is often serious without offering substance.

On the other hand, once in a while he makes a hilarious post!

Nice if it were that simple. In fact, it would be nice enough if politicians were actually about ideas and principles. Too bad it's really about constituencies, votes and power.

No one wants to be regressive. Wedge's point is that we are all way further left than we pretend. :thumb:

At least you sometimes make the attempt at substance when you do your analyses, and you quote enough history to get some of it right. I suppose Edgie is striving for substance and insight once in a while, but he consistently fails.

You make about as much sense as he does.
