I'm not too sure if a lack of support for something means you are arrogant or xenophobic (for example). I'll all for legal immigration, but just because I think people should emigrate legally, doesn't mean I have an irrational fear of those that don't.![]()
Looks to me, from reading your little chart, that the Democrats are not Progressives.Wedgebuster wrote:Regression Vs Progression, what does this country need most?

Wedgie is often serious without offering substance.CID1990 wrote:Look at all the people responding to a thread purporting to stimulate debate, but actually just intended to be snarky and insulting.
Why don't we start one titled, "Conservatives vs. Cocksuckers..."?

Nice if it were that simple. In fact, it would be nice enough if politicians were actually about ideas and principles. Too bad it's really about constituencies, votes and power.Wedgebuster wrote:Regression Vs Progression, what does this country need most?

At least you sometimes make the attempt at substance when you do your analyses, and you quote enough history to get some of it right. I suppose Edgie is striving for substance and insight once in a while, but he consistently fails.kalm wrote:No one wants to be regressive. You make about as much sense as he does.kalm wrote:No one wants to be regressive. Wedge's point is that we are all way further left than we pretend.
