Geithner has that same doe-eyed, loopy look that the bad guy in Ghost has. You know, the young guy who ends up getting impaled on a nasty shard of window glass and then is dragged down to hell. :coffee:

Come October Geithner will be thrown to the curb as a scapegoat.

to let the people think it wasn't the D at the end of the name that caused the problems but a few bad eggs like Geithner and Napolitano.

Stewart Varney on Fox Business News actually stood up for Geithner today, saying that this particular charge was incorrectly laid at his feet.

Those unfair and unbalanced nuts at Fox...

Who's fault did he say it was then?

I have a hard time believing that creditors of AIG, GM, Chrysler, etc....wouldn't take less than 100 cents on the dollar for their debts that would have otherwise been worth nothing.

Sorry, danefane, I didn't catch the whole thing. Your point is well taken.

And it will not be an advantage to wait until a few months before mid terms to fire Geithner and Napolitano. This incompetent and tone deaf President is walking himself off the plank.

You think that will stop them from trying/actually doing it?

The Obamaniacs have painted themselves into so many corners with their stubborn foolishness, it's hard to tell.
