From New Orleans, appointed to the bench by Bill Clinton... U.S. District Judge Thomas Porteous, who has been suspended from the bench for almost two years, is facing four articles of impeachment approved by the House Judiciary Committee
One of the articles said that the judge "engaged in conduct so utterly lacking in honesty and integrity that he is guilty of high crimes and misdemeanors

How bad is this guy???
Rep. James Sensenbrenner, D-Wis., said he would recommend that if the Senate decides to remove Porteous from office, the senators also pass a separate measure that would bar him from ever getting a federal appointment or elected position.

In New orleans, they are not even ashamed by the corruption! When I lived in Algiers my neighbor used to brag about the load of gravel he had gotten for his driveway from the parish commissioner for voting "properly."
...and New Orleans is the only major metropolitan police department to consistently leads the nation in all three measures of law enforcement performance: corruption, brutality and incompetence.

They should've thought of that before they impeached Alcee Hastings.

Alito has been tame at his worst since being elevated to the supreme court. He's not even close to Scalia and he's closer to the center than Roberts.
