He should be arriving right about now. What a clusterfvck downtown is right now. From what I observed walking from the World Trade Center to City Hall a half hour ago, 2 cops on each corner(8 per intersection) two blocks out from the Renaissance Hotel. Thats 24 on Lombard St and 24 on Pratt St(the two main east-west thoroughfares downtown. I'm sure its the same on the west side of the hotel. This morning on the news, they said there were 10 SS suburbans surrounding the hotel at 7am.
Pratt and Lombard will be closed from Gay to Calvert from the time he arrives to the time he leaves.

One of the SS's flags is big guys in Towson football jackets. They automatically assume they're disgruntled. Be careful you don't get too close or you might get taken down.

I only wear the sideline jacket when its cold and raining. My dad is retired SS, so I'd just have to tell them my last name and they back down.
...as if they could take me down.

When Obama was in Phoenix giving the ASU commencement address in May, they shut down the entire West-bound side of the freeway between ASU and the airport when he left.
I mean, really...who does this guy think he is? The president of the United States?

Obama was in Tampa on Wednesday - wrote us a nice fat check for $1.25 billion for a new high speed rail line.
How much y'all get?

I think he's going to the Republican Retreat, which is odd in and of itself.

Oops, different SS. I was thinking Arnold Schwartzenegger SS. Oops. No offense to your family.

Less likely for him to run into someone that'd want to talk politics with him.

Answer: Not a God-damned thing! Thanks for being our advocate, Mr. VP.
Baltimore gets a new tunnel! Whoo hoo! More gridlock to spread around!
My company did a feasablity study on a mag-lev train between DC and Baltimore. The cost of doing this here is enormous do to the rolling terrain here along the fall line. Something like this needs to be built along the coast plain. I can't imagine how much it would be to connect NYC to Boston.

After watching the Q&A, I don't think the R's will be inviting him again.
