Liberal Media?

Forced-birth Ad by Hate Group - OK
Ad promoting love - BAD

The Super Bowl ad debate increased Friday as CBS officially rejected an ad for a gay men’s dating Web site, according to a report on Mashable.com.

The rejection of the ad is likely to add flames to the fire over the acceptance of an ad from anti-gay group Focus on the Family.

I don't know if it is so much that CBS hates gays as much as they realize the majority of the people that watch football are manly men that like to watch other guys in tight pants slap each other on the ass. Nothing gay about that crowd.

All joking aside, you have to know CBS is making a marketing decision and not taking a stance on the subject.

I agree to some extent but their reasoning doesn't exactly pan out when they also reject Ashley Madison commercials.

That's actually a very funny commercial, but can this company really pay $2.5 mil for a 1/2 minute commercial. CBS says it can't verify the company's credit.

Also, CBS has in the past nixed other Super Bowl commercials for being risque and do think it would also not run a commercial with a heterosexual couple sucking face on a couch.

Here's a Bud Light ad that was gonged in 2007:

If there's anything to be outraged over, it's that there are too many people who wouldn't be offended by an eharmony commercial but would be by one of a gay dating service. CBS is probably pulled the commercial to avoid complaints from these people and not because the CBS execs themselves didn't like it.

As for the Tebow ad, I wasn't able to see it before youtube pulled it, but people at CBS have said it isn't that divisive and won't be offensive to the vast majority of folks. I think FotF is doing this just so the militant pro-abortion groups like NOW will make asses of themselves for weeks over nothing.

Gay men are seen (by middle america) as EXTREME, and they (those making money off of middle america) want to keep it dull/traditional/denial... just how they(middle america) likes it.

"Flaming" hyperbole from the gay guy.

With that "forced birth" bullshit, it's just more proof that the Pro Choice crowd isn't really Pro Choice, but instead Pro Abortion.

Thankfully, networks never show Viagra or other male enhancement ads that contain sexual innuendo.

Let all the stoopid sonsabitches who want to waste their money on a Super Bowl commercials do so.

Distasteful as it WILL be, more free speech is good for the country, as it will inspire more discussion of issues, some of which might actually be helpful.

Just keep it out of the schools below college level.
