Haiti Update - Not a Pretty Picture

Paging KY JELLY, Paging KY JELLY!!!!

I got this EMAIL from my brother (who works for a helicopter airlift company out of Reno, NV), who's boss and Operations manager are in Haiti attempting to help with the recovery effort. I can't vouch for it's validity, but if true it raises some significant questions regarding the competency of the UN as a functioning organization.

From my brother: To all who know that my boss and the Director of Ops for Airlift were in Haiti and Dominican Republic for a week trying to see what we could do to assist the UN, USAID and other relief organizations, I can say with confidence that the following letter is right on the money. You are looking at the future when you look at Haiti today. The UN truly does not care how many people die, as more death means more sympathy means more money.

Meanwhile the people of Haiti are digging themselves out and finding surviviors 15 days after the quake. They dig with sledgehammers and old hydraulic bottle jacks to free the trapped people while heavy equipment sits stalled at the airport, waiting for the UN to "clear" it. The UN has officially "ceased the rescue operation" as if there ever was one, after only ten days and "has begun rebuilding" Haiti. What they fail to point out is that they have had hundreds of people from the UN in Haiti since 2005 supposedly doing just that. All they managed to accomplish in 5 years was to spend indescribable amounts of money, mostly from the US, on anything but the Haitian people.

In case any of you have any doubts, you can go see for yourself. A ticket to Santo Domingo is about $900, and the boat ride or taxi to Port au Prince is about $150. I welcome any dissenting opinions, but the evidence is overwhelming on the ground. The following letter could have been written by anyone who spent more than a few days in Port au Prince. It was forwarded to me by a friend.

Text of email:

I just returned from Haiti with Hebler. We flew in at 3 AM Sunday to the scene of such incredible destruction on one side, and enormous ineptitude and criminal neglect on the other.

Port o Prince is in ruins. The rest of the country is fairly intact. Our team was a rescue team and we carried special equipment that locates people buried under the rubble. There are easily 200,000 dead; the city smells like a charnal house.

The bloody UN was there for 5 years doing apparently nothing but wasting US Taxpayers money. The ones I ran into were either incompeyent or outright anti american. Most are French or french speakers, worthless every damn one of them. While 1800 rescuers were ready willing and able to leave the airport and go do our jobs, the UN and USAID ( another organization full of little OBamites and communisrts that openly speak against America) These two organizations exemplared their parochialism by:

USAID, when in control of all inbound flights, had food and water flights stacked up all the way to Miami, yet allowed Geraldo Rivera, Anderson Cooper and a host of other left wing news puppies to land. Pulled all the security off the rescue teams so that Bill Clinton and his wife could have the grand tour, whilst we sat unable to get to people trapped in the rubble.

Stacked enough food and water for the relief over at the side of the airfield then put a guard on it while we dehydrated and wouldn't release a drop of it to the rescuers. No shower facilities to decontaminate after digging or moving corpses all day, except for the FEMA teams who brought their own shower and decon equipment, as well as air conditioned tents. No latrine facilities, less digging a hole, if you set up a shitter everyone was trying to use it.

I watched a 25 year old Obamite with the USAID shrieking hysterically; berate a full bird colonel in the Air Force, because he countermanded her orders, whilst trying to unscrew the air pattern. "You dont know what your president wants! The military isn't in charge here we are!"

If any of you are thinking of giving money to the Haitian relief, or to the UN don't waste your money. It will only go to further the goals of the French and the Liberal left. If we are a fair and even society, why is it that only white couples are adopting Haitian orphans? Where the hell is that vocal minority that is always screaming about the injustice of American society?

Bad place, bad situation, but a perfect look at the new world order in action. New Orleans magnified a thousand times. Haiti doesn't need democracy, what Haiti needs is Papa Doc. Thats not just my opinion, that is what virtually every Haitian we talked with said. The French run UN treat us the same as when we were a colony, at least Papa Doc ran the country.

Oh, and as a last slap in the face the last four of us had to take US AIRWAYs home from Phoenix. They slapped me with a 590 dollar baggage charge for the four of us. The girl at the counter was almost in tears because she couldn't give us a discount or she would lose her job. Pass that on to the flying public.

Take it for what it's worth, folks. It's obviously partisan, but if the lefties can see through the rhetoric and not shoot the messenger, the message is clear. I have the actual email addresses, but didn't feel comfortable posting them on here as some would be prone to attacking this guy. :coffee: :coffee: :coffee:

So is Arch Nissell going to be sued for plagerism by Nic Brockhausen. Just curious.

First of all this is obviously all G W Bush's fault.

Second what do you expect when you have the UN and the Red Cross running things, 2 of the top 5 five inept things in the world and you expect different results?

Oh man - forwarded chain emails never turn out well.

(Not blaming AZ as he clearly states that he cannot vouch for its validity)

Actually, on the email I got Nic's name was at the top. Now, in going back and looking at the unedited version on my email, it appears Arch Nissell forwarded it FROM Nick Brockhausen (don't know who that is) to my brother's boss....I screwed that up when I edited the email for posting.

Ah well, as I said Benne, try not to shoot the messenger and discuss the actual CLAIMS in the email. :coffee:

Not shooting anything. All UN criticism aside, the email reeks of partisan politics with a dash of NWO paranoia. I've yet to find anything debunking the author.

I'm not sure who really wrote the propaganda, but I think it's a safe bet that it was a grumpy, old white man.

If the earthquake had been a blizzard in Denver Colorado, those stuck inside would have prevented the buildings from collapse through the shear presence of their rugged self reliance or jettisoned out through the rubble on the strength of their big government hatred...unlike those lazy residents of New Port au Orleans. ;)

Well, then, BOHICA to you, my friend. Playing with SK typically ends up costing you a hat, but if we get another epic simile for your facial hair out of the deal, I'll have no objections. You have been warned

It really sucks for you not having Bill and Jeff around, huh? Is any of this going to be my job now or something
