Obama insulted Las Vegas last year when he insinuated people not come. Well he did it again. And he pissed off a lot of people in Vegas and Nevada, including pols from both parties.
Barack Obama wrote:When times are tough, you tighten your belts. You don't go buying a boat when you're trying to pay your mortgage. You don't blow a bunch of cash on Vegas when you're trying to save on college. You prioritize, you make tough choices.
Yeah, how dare the President say something like that? That's just awful.
Maybe he should have told people to go shopping and visit Disney World on credit.

While the Presidents point is valid....and your sarcasm is noted...
The words Obama used must have been written by Joe Biden, because he really stuck his foot in his mouth...
Considering his Majority leader is from Nevada and is in a tough reelection battle...ya thnk he could have phrased it differently???
Speaking of Biden...has anyone seen him lately???

Probably another broken teleprompter is to blame - he really needs to get those things fixed - maybe earmark some stimulus spending or something:

.....and considering his majority leader hasn't delivered on one democratic agenda initiative while presiding over a filibuster-proof senate & is woefully behind in the polls, perhaps this is Obama cutting his losses with an ineffective "leader".....
Those who have a very unfavorable opinion of Reid now outnumber those with a very favorable view of the longtime senator by two-to-one – 47% to 23%. This marks virtually no change from December.
Lowden is viewed very favorably by eight percent (8%) and very unfavorably by nine percent (9%). For Tarkanian, very favorables add up to 20% percent and very unfavorables 10%. Seven percent (7%) have a very favorable view of Angle, while 13% regard her very unfavorably.
At this point in a campaign, Rasmussen Reports considers the number of people with a strong opinion more significant than the total favorable/unfavorable numbers. http://www.rasmussenreports.com/public_ ... ada_senate

First chance I've had to use this emoticon:
Biden was last seen at a local 7-11....

Why? Aren't you all for non-partisan telling it like it is instead of sucking up to Harry Reid?

Not when it doesn't support their fantasy...

I give Obama kudos for saying that. Casinos are basically just super-expensive arcades except the games aren't as fun.

I forgive Obama. He was just saying what the teleprompter told him too say.

Disney world and shopping over gambling and hookers? I don't think so.
