Hmm. Who da thunk! The only one with a gun in a gun free zone is the criminal with the restraining order.

TACOMA — The man who fatally shot a Tacoma special education teacher before being slain by a sheriff's deputy Friday morning had stalked the woman for years, showering her with unwanted attention that made her fearful, according to police and court records.

The victim, Jennifer Paulson, 30, had obtained a civil anti-harassment order against the man in September 2008 after he repeatedly called her, sent her flowers and visited her workplace against her wishes, according to Tacoma Municipal Court records.

The gunman, identified by police as Jed Waits of Ellensburg, had been arrested last Friday for violating that order and had spent the weekend behind bars, according to Tacoma police

I would only have sympathy if the guy had a gun and lost the duel, its just a lib teacher so its not a big loss and the US as a whole gains from this being removed from the education system that has failed this country since the left grabbed onto it in the 60's

....special ed teacher's are libs now? I understand the viewpoint of not giving people special rights (in this case the special needs people being given special treatment) but someone supporting and being a special ed teacher does not make one a 'lib."

So the moral of the story is that special ed. teachers should start packing on the job?

Exactly! Because it is obvious that people who are not supposed to have guns in the first place, won't listen and still bring a gun to a gun free zone.
