Just watched "Pirate For The Sea", about environmental activist Paul Watson.
Jesus H. Christ, what an arrogant fuck. Listening to these pompous blowhards blather on and on about their self-righteous criminal activity makes me want to puke.

These fuckers ought to be drawn and quartered.

That's pretty darn good, Ursus!
So THAT's what it means to be drawn and quartered.

A note to all of us...start at least one thread a week about the whalin' or the sailin' so that ahab will crank his machine and get a post out.

Whales may be sentient, but they are total pussies letting themselves get harpooned with little interest in fighting back. Then again, there was that one trainer a couple of weeks ago, and now this:

That fat bastard captain is the biggest hypocrite I have ever seen. He freaked out when the Jap whalers tried to foul their prop saying it was illegal etc. You jerkoffs bave been doing it to them for years-- its a taste of your own medicine buddy. What the Jap whalers are doing may be unsavory, but they arent the ones commiting crimes.

His "1st mate" that skinny weasly looking D-Bag is even worse. He plans all these raids and talks tough, but never does any of the dirty work himself.

Having never actually seen any ocean, I'm not all that familiar with maritime law.
Is there actually a set of laws that pertain to international waters? And who legislates them?

Well I believe that is a big part of the issue. For some reason whaling is legal in these waters off Anartacia for "research" purposes. The Japs are abviously there to harvest them for food.
Overall I believe there is a set of generally agreed upon laws used by all countries at sea. The Sea Shepard has engaged in illegal activity like boarding the Jap boat, which caused a freakin international incident, and attempting to foul the props with ropes (which has to be against maritime law).

This douchebag hides behind the "United Nations Law of Nature"....whatever the fuck THAT is....
Just about everything he DOES is criminal...from the intentional fouling of props, to the ramming and attempted sinking of other boats, to assaulting fisherman...and he does it ALL with a smarmy smirk on his face. He REALLY thinks his shit don't stink...just like most uberliberals on this board.

I have been on a plane, though not that often.
Flew in my uncle's small plane once as a kid, and made one commercial flight when I was in highschool (well, one round trip, which involved a couple flights each way, but still).
The vast majority of traveling I've done has been by car. I was in New Orleans once (that was where my one commercial flight took me), but I didn't make it to the coastline while I was there).
