Sarah Palin coming to Tucson, Mesa for McCain

Former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin will campaign once more on behalf of Sen. John McCain later this month in Tucson and Mesa.
Palin, McCain's running mate in the 2008 presidential race and a favorite of the "tea party" movement, will help McCain against an insurgent Republican primary campaign by former Arizona Congressman J.D. Hayworth.
Palin will appear with McCain at a noon rally on Friday, March 26, at Thurber Hall, Pima County Fairgrounds, 11300 S. Houghton Road, Tucson.
The next day, Saturday, March 27, she will stump in the East Valley for McCain. The former running mates will headline a 9 a.m. rally at the Dobson High School gymnasium, 1501 W. Guadalupe Road, Mesa. Ironically, it's the same high school gym where President Barack Obama appeared in February 2009 to announce measures to help struggling homeowners.
Earlier this month, newly elected Sen. Scott Brown, R-Mass., campaigned for McCain in Phoenix and Tucson.
