My point exactly...the Donks (rightfully IMHO) screamed about the Bush abuse of the Constitution with the Patriot Act...then, once they got into office, suddenly it's not an issue...except to keep that power unto themselves...

It was an issue. They tried to pass it with provisions to prevent much of the abuse of powers in the Patriot Act. But they didn't have the 60 votes any longer because Scott Brown was elected.

How many speaches has he made rallying support for his position on this issue???

Have you read a Supreme Court decision? I'm sure you have. Guess what? They're nuanced as fuck. So, decisions about your rights always have been and always will be nuanced, native.
