But I thought the vast majority of Americans were taking up arms to prevent fellow citizens from having health care?

Forty-nine percent (49%) of U.S. voters favor their state suing the federal government to fight the requirement in the new national health care plan that every American must obtain health insurance.

A new Rasmussen Reports national telephone survey of likely voters finds that 37% disagree and oppose their state suing to challenge that requirement. Fourteen percent (14%) are undecided.

According to Z, there are no good signs anymore. The world is ending, and it will happen way before 2012. :silly:

Well, I look at it kind of like religion: I'd rather believe and be WRONG, than NOT believe and be wrong.

Don't you poor saps come cryin' to me, trying to get into MY compound when the fuckin' balloon goes up. I'll drop you where you stand. :nod: :nod: :nod:

Not very clever, jon. :roll: You can do better spin than that. :nod:

Today, 49% still want their state attorney general to sue the federal government to stop Obamacare. 37% oppose the idea. 60% of Dems oppose the lawsuit idea, but 58% of independents side with the 72% of the Republicans who support the l;egal challenge. Moreover, "...the gap over suing the federal government is even wider between Mainstream Americans and the Political Class. Sixty-two percent (62%) of Mainstream voters think state lawsuits challenging the federal requirement are a good idea. Seventy-nine percent (79%) of the Political Class disagree...."

http://www.rasmussenreports.com/public_ ... _care_plan" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

On a related note, Obama did indeed get a bump in his approval ratings after this weekend, but it all came from dems who think he finally grew a spine. Rasmussen's Wednesday report (2/3 of the poll was conducted after this weeken's vote) shows that 31% of the nation's voters Strongly Approve and forty-two percent (42%) Strongly Disapprove giving Obama a Presidential Approval Index rating of -11.

"...Today, 60% of Democrats Strongly Approve while only 9% Strongly Disapprove. A week ago, those figures were 46% Strongly Approve and 14% Strongly Disapprove. Among Republicans, the President’s Approval Index was at -66 a week ago and is the same today. Among voters not affiliated with either major party, the President’s Approval Index rating was -25 a week ago and -26 today...."

So, a poll that AGREES with your position is good. A poll that DISPROVES your position is junk.

You truly are a piece of work.

What poll did I say was junk? And, I didn't even say this poll was that great, AZ. I also criticized it:

Nah, but I don't give a shit about Rasmussen's poll and I don't think Obama or Democrats do either.

I said I didn't give a shit about it... I think that's different than saying it's junk or not credible.

If you quoted the whole post you would have seen I was saying that the polls taken before the passage of the bill don't mean squat. The ones after mean a whole lot more. That's why I posted "Bandwagon fans" in the first post of this one. And, as I also posted in this thread... this poll is only somewhat more meaningful... we'll really have a better idea in a week or so.

So now he's saying it's legit and credible, but still doesn't give a shit about it. I guess that makes him arrogant instead of inconsistent. I'm not sure which is worse, but he done dug himself a big hole today. :lol:

Eh, whatever. It makes sense to me. I don't give a shit about a poll done a few days before the bill was signed. I care a lot more about ones done AFTER. Both are equally credible though. :?
