Misleading headline...COULD vs Will

And...

Overall, 35 percent of voters think the Obama administration has a clear plan for fixing the economy, down from 42 percent last summer (July 21-22, 2009).

At the same time the number saying the White House doesn’t have a plan for the economy has increased from 53 percent in July to 62 percent in the new poll. That includes almost all Republicans (88 percent), two-thirds of independents (67 percent), as well as a third of Democrats (33 percent).

Even fewer people think Democrats in Congress (24 percent) and Republicans in Congress (16 percent) have clear plans to fix the economy.

You're absolutely ridiculous - fully half of your posts are complete fiction and the other half are completely misconstrued non-sense

You actually should be embarrassed - but of course
You're so proud and self righteously indignant you aren't

Awesome..!!!
"Most American voters believe it’s possible the nation’s economy could collapse, and majorities don’t think elected officials in Washington have ideas for fixing it."

This is statement in the article.

My headline is closer and more accurate than anyone in the Hussein Obama white house would have done. They do the exact same thing except they dont let you read the things they are hiding.

If its good enough for the POS leading our country to a place Africa couldnt attain on a great day............well then its good enough for me.

Sorry, Hippie, but I just met with my estate attorney today. Topic of discussion: Shielding assets.

She's doing a rainshed business right now.

Folks with assets are scared shitless. Sooner or later, someone's going to pay for all this spending. And it won't be the unemployed or service industry workers.

But the CBO estimates say that you're going to pay your taxes so we can have deficit reduction. So pay up damn it!

There a number of economists predicting a more a double dip with the second one being far worse than the first. If it does, we can't say we weren't warned. Not much reason right now to have faith in any leaders. I mean if Alan Greenspan's market can't self correct, what market can?

T-man,
are you drinking and taking your meds again..?

I'm not disagreeing with anything written in the article - I'm pointing out that "could" and "will" are not the same word by a LONG LONG stretch...as ALPHAGRIZ1 implies

Example:
Theoretically monkeys could fly out of your ass...

If I say: Monkeys will fly out of your ass - you should be alarmed

Its all about content and catchy headlines.

If you say monkeys could fly out of your butt nobody is going to read your stuff.

If you say monkeys did fly out of your butt people will have a morbid curiosity to at least check it out. Even if they hate monkeys or butts.

Nice at least watching 18 hours of Fox News a day has taught you how to attract viewers with misleading headlines.

Moreover, 78 percent of voters believe the federal government is "larger and more costly" than it has ever been before, and by nearly three-to-one more voters think the national debt (65 percent) is a greater potential threat to the country’s future than terrorism (23 percent).
Yet we happily spend, spend, spend away!!! :ohno:

So you think marginalizing your credibility "irritates opposing agendas"..?
Perhaps you might consider that it strengthens them
At the very least it confirms Republican antics

Such as:
The same Republicans who the President told Max Baucus to negotiate with for months on end, only to find out that - surprise - the Republicans weren't actually interested in negotiating because they didn't want any reform to pass or any possibilities honestly explored...

They simply wanted to be a road block - so ultimately - we got a crappy bill instead of what really could have been accomplished with honest work from both sides...

:coffee:

Nice to see you admit the donks put together a crappy bill. But then again, what else would we expect?

You can put lipstick on a pig all you want, clitorus, and it's still a pig. And that's all negotiating would have done...just applied lipstick. Donks didn't want to negotiate...they wanted to give the APPEARANCE that they were willing to negotiate. Big difference.

Not true. If the donks would have just called to conks' "bluff" and accepted their seven-page plan, they could have claimed it as their own and declared victory. If they had done so, then:

1. We would have better health care
2. We would have cheaper healthcare
3. We would have more healthcare for more people
4. We would have significantly slowed the growth of the national debt
5. It would have rescued Obama's Presidency
