Opposition to Obama’s Policies Will Lead To Violence ... so says 53% of the respondents to this particular Rasmussen poll.

According to Rasmussen, most of those who are worried about violence are Democrats.

Other interesting tidbits:

* 52% of voters believe the average member of the Tea Party movement has a better understanding of the issues facing America today than the average member of Congress.

* 30% believe that those in Congress have a better understanding of the key issues facing the nation.

EDIT: * 63% think it would be better for the country if most incumbents in Congress were defeated this November.

* 27% of voters say their representative in Congress is the best possible person for the job.

Just on those two "tidbits" alone we can see part of the problem...

Some of the respondents (I bet) said throw out all the rascals...except mine because he/she is the best person for the job...

His policies are designed to lead to violence, then he can turn us into a police state and protect us from him.....er ahh hmm, I mean ourselves.

And that is a major part of the problem - the incumbents are "them", not our guy.

Great point Colonel, and in most years it would be quite correct, but not this year. This year, a significant number of respondents wants to fire even their own Congressman.

My original post was in error. 63% favor booting incumbents, not 13%. Thank you for the (inadvertent) correction, Colonel!

I think they are done in the courts with the violent Donks from the RNC in St Paul. The molotov cocktail makers and riot instigators are now in jail.

I still think that the country should split up with only commonalities being national defense and currency.
