Meanwhile, the LGBT and separatist minority groups will ramp up a "bigot/racist" name-calling operation to spin every conservative remark as hateful.
Being 1st Amendment advocates, they want to ensure "hate speech" is muzzled.

If it's well done and funny I think you'll find it embraced by most
The daily show is the prime example of political humor done harmlessly

The problem with the right is they take themselves very seriously and what starts out as an attempt at comedy usually turns into Coulter and Limbaugh-esque rants
The key: is to stay light - don't take yourself too seriously - be funny and cute more so than pointed and angry

if the Right ever figures this out (which is not likely but I'm hopeful) they'd have a half dozen successful shows based in the comedy format - the problem is they will all turn into selfish myopic rants...

we'll see... I'm seriously hoping the Frazier guy does the show, he can be super funny

To have a comedy show - one must state truths because the truth is funny - but in a way that does not feel like you're being lectured or condescended to...

Why is Bill Maher not funny: Because he talks at you with a pompous attitude
Why is John Stewart Funny: Because he talks to you with a light air and inside grin

one gy takes himself very seriously the other does not... thus one is funny the other is a dick-head

The right has plenty of facts and ammo to create a fantastic comedy show... if they can only deliver the facts without pointing fingers and lecturing and talking down... to be funny you must resist the temptation to be a pompous "i Know more than you" dick-head...
