These guys may be able to lie to the people dumb enough to vote for them but they cannot lie to the informed electorate. The statements Geitner made yesterday were some of the biggest lies I have ever heard on any Sunday show. His number dont even work and you cant blame the previous administration for everything when you keep spending 2-3 times what they did. Granted this administration is purposefully trying to crush our economy/country but the balls they have trying to lie like this is fu*king hillarious. When these jackasses nails us with the tax increases coming up (healthcare, VAT etc) then we will really see this country go down the shitter.

And President Obama said at a Democratic National Committee fundraiser Thursday that Tea Party activists should "be saying thank you" to him for the tax cuts passed by his administration.

I thought Bush passed tax cuts that weren't paid for

Clod is a very appropriate term to describe him so far. I thought he was going to be much more effective than he has been. I don't agree with him on many issues, mostly fiscal, but I thought he would be better at getting his shit done. He's way behind the eight ball at this point. He's actually losing ground as far as I can see. I think he does much better when he has a powerful opponent to work against. Right now, he really doesn't have one. The congress is supposedly in his pocket. IMHO, the best thing that could happen for him is to narrowly lose control of one of the houses of congress. Then he would perhaps be able to get back some of the mojo he had as an underdog candidate.

Up to this point, BO has been one major fucking let down.

What in the world would make you think that about him? He's an "empty suit"....I guess if they'd let him pre-write ALL his conversations, and then carry his teleprompter with him into every meeting he MIGHT be able to get something accomplished....

If you don't think that taxes and the total cost of living are not going up in the near future, I think your head is in the sand. They have to, to pay for all the spending. If they just keep printing money, we are eventually going to see inflation rates that will make the inflation rates during the Jimmy Carter years look like pocket change.
