Its been well over a week since the oil rig in the gulf coast blew up and killed people.

Where is Obama

Why hasnt he done anything yet?

Why is he letting the environment die? Does he hate it because some of its white?

Another assinine post. If you watched the news, you would see that Obama has mobilized the military, DHS, Interior Departments.

Why did he wait 8 days before doing so?

I think it's the response to the disaster on the Louisiana gulf coast that we're talking about here. And yes, there are numerous parallels.

Someone listened to Rush today. It's like reading what I heard on lunch. Rush is trying to paint the picture that Obama fiddled while the Gulf burned, errrr, filled with oil. So he can say off shore drilling is bad and we shouldn't do that anymore. That would make the enviro wacos happy and help his re-election chances.

Today I changed my stance on offshore drilling until further measures are in place to make drilling wells safer. Until now I believed what I had read that a disaster like this was impossible. I also apologize to SCBH for saying he was a problem for protesting an off sore rig on the Sun Coast.

No Ray was specifically in charge of the safety and well being of the people in New Orleans. He said so on the official EM page of the city. You would think he would have been at least available sometime before/ during/ immediately after the storms landfall.

The president cannot do much for a city, let alone a state until federal help is asked for.

I already did in an earlier post. Alpha also failed to respond.
