On face value this relatively funny, but the way black guys bitch and cry about EVERYTHING it take the funny out of it and just plays on a stereotype that they claim to hate because its too hurtful and demeaning.

Nope. It isn't about the communities if you have a few individuals that are willing to step forward and embrace that the stereotypes can be part of the humor then I'm all fucking for everyone not taking everything so seriously. Dave Chappel did it well and a few others so let it fly and let the community deal with it.

It isn't about the communities if you have a few individuals that are willing to step forward and embrace that the stereotypes can be part of the humor then I'm all fucking for everyone not taking everything so seriously. Dave Chappel did it well and a few others so let it fly and let the community deal with it.

The irony is that if you watch TV and pay attention you will notice what appears to be a definite effort to avoid portraying people who threaten white women as Black. I'm not just talking about the entertainment either. It extends into the commercials. Like take that Brinks Security series where women are alone and their abodes get broken into in various scenarios. It is ALWAYS a white male threatening them. My impression is they wouldn't DARE depict a Black male in those scenarios because they know they'd get hammered for it.

Another thing: Notice what typically happens when somebody is portrayed as a buffoon or screw up on a commercial. It's usually going to be a white male. Seriously. Start keeping track as you watch commercials.

It's been noticed by many. No need to keep track of it cuz it is very obvious. I really couldn't give a shit if they are accurate in their portrayals though. The FBI crime stats are always accurate and if you really want to get your information from entertainment or advertising then you would be the part of the herd that could use some culling anyway.

I must admit that I do care, because what we're seeing is an intentional effort to distort reality in favor of the egalitarian dogma. As I'm sure you know, it extends well beyond this particular area too.

Yes but as I said...I don't care because those that buy into to that bullshit will be the first to go anyway. I don't care what an idiot thinks unless I'm arguing with them. Reality can be entertainment but the reverse is not true so I don't use it in that fashion.

Notice how I cleverly left out mugged to strengthen my argument? (it's an inner city problem)

Perhaps commercials should depict black guys with urban crimes and white trash meth-heads when your cows are being stolen.

I wouldn't worry too much about it though. White power movements and everyone's innate sense of racism should balance out the unrealistic commercials.

And what about the chicks? Checking out the local crime stories in the Spokane paper and you'll a ton of woman perps. Commercials are soooo gender biased.

I'm not going to go through the trouble to look up stats again unless you insist and then I feel like going through the trouble, but a white woman is of course more likely to be raped by a white guy. There are several factors accounting for that. One is that there are a lot more white guys than black guys (about 104 million to about 16 million). So even if black guys were much more likely to be rapists than white guys a randomly selected woman would still be more likely to be raped by a white guy. Another is that a high percentage of rapes involve rapists known by the victim.

However, black males are far more "likely" to commit crimes of violence, including rape, against whites than whitle males are to commit violent crimes against blacks. Also, black males are far more ""likely" to commit violent crimes period. And they are more "likely" to commit violent crimes against people they don't know. By any reasonable standard they are, on average, "more dangerous."

By more "likely" I mean that a higher proportion commits such acts. If you randomly select a black man and randomly select a whilte man, the odds of getting a black man who has committed a violent crime (or a rape, or a rape of a woman of another race, etc.) are far higher than the odds of getting a white man like that are. And I'm not talking just about statistics on arrests, etc. I'm talking about statistics on what the victim reports about the attacker.

What all that translates into is let's say you have one white woman who sees a black man who is a stranger to her and another white woman who sees a white man who is a stranger to her. The one looking at a black man is more "likely" to be looking at violent crime threat.

And that's why efforts to make it seem that there is no rational basis for being apprehensive in the presence of an unknown black male are fallacious. Sure, it's tough for the overshelming majority of black males who are not a threat. But it's still not crazy or irrational for other people to recognize the reality.
