Um...
Of course you're familiar with what a triple A rating is...?
and
Of course you're aware that Triple A rated stocks were effectively Rated by the companies selling them not by independent experts... so we had Alan Greenspan talking up Triple A ratings while he knew full well anybody who created one could freely rate it themselves as "triple A"
the entire system is based on fraud

Let's see, Minnesota:

Only state to join DC and vote for Walter Mondale
Al Franken

Conks miss satire. And in other news, dog bites man.
Franken is correct about the ratings agencies and Ventura would be smart enough to support this type of reform.

Mornin' Mista Kneejerk...
...this demonstrates either:
1) The folks running the Senate (the Dems) are so clueless they need to use cartoons to understand our financial markets, or...
2) Franken's perceives his fellow Senators as lacking in intellectual capacity.
Take your pick.

Franken took advantage of the vote early vote often philosophy. If a person had the gumption, they could have voted 50 times on election day in Minnesota without showing an ID.
...and yes there were precincts in the city that had more votes cast than voters, aka Chicago North

That was back when your vote counted. SCOTUS fixed that problem.
