Supposedly ousted by the Tea Party in Utah.
I am confused. What happened. He's not a democrat.

He's not black
Something's wrong here

It's the NY-23 cycle:
1. Hate the R incumbent because they're not hating Obama/taxes/spending enough;
2. Get them primaried out of office;
3. Watch deep red magically turn to blue...
(Well ok, NY-23 didn't go the primary route, but same difference with the 3rd party candidate effectively killing the incumbent R's chances...)
Now, I think Dems are shot on sight in Utah, so that seat will probably stay red, but Kentucky, where this same thing is happening, is a whole different story...
Oh, and some tea partiers are talking about going after Hatch...

I don't know Bennett. Maybe he deserved it, Maybe he didn't. But this is what I like about it.
Since the Va and NJ governors race, long time republican senators and congress people have been rubbing their hands about the possibility of a major republican victory in November. They had better be listening because what this says is yes, the repubs may pick up control of a house or two (or at least get close) , but if you aren't careful you won't be there to enjoy it.

1/2 of congress needs to be the other party STAT... I WANT GRIDLOCK NOW..!!!!
I mean seriously - we've only got two parties now - unlike what we had for our first 125 years where there were minor political revolutions every 20 years of certain parties gaining favor then fading (it was a nice process) and exactly like what Thomas Jefferson wanted...
a mineature revolution every 20 years
Now we have left or right - Dumb and Dumber as our only choices... so at best we need total gridlock now and forever
