ABC News Lies About Obama Support In Iraq

Katelyn and her Captain stood directly behind Raddatz as she queried GI's walking past. They kept count of the GI's and you should remember these numbers. She asked 60 GI's who they planned to vote for in November. 54 said John McCain, 4 for Obama and 2 for Hillary.
....
After a dissertation on McCain's trip and speech, ABC showed 5 GI's being asked by Raddatz how they were going to vote in November; 3 for Obama and 2 for Clinton. No mention of the 54 for McCain.

not surprised yo! Browsed through ABC news the other night, they were doing a story about McCain. Instead of showing him as able bodied person (as is really is), they show him being held by BOTH arms as if he was/is an invalid living in a rest home. Footage that was obviously several years old, post-op.
And people don't believe there's bias in network news.

You know if they actually showed the enormous number of troops backing the Republicans it would be a disastrous blow to the agenda of the liberal media!
Fox News is #1 by great margins because they are fair and balanced and do not have an agenda like the others do!

They ALL have an agenda...you just happen to agree with the Fox agenda so you drink the kool aide and believe "Fair and Balanced"...

Cool thread. The other day I read that letter from Raddatz's guide and almost posted it, but there's so much spin going on right now, it's hard to choose what to post.
Raddatz is a product of the NPR proletariat, so her disingenuous reporting is to be expected. Several bloggers underlined that even if she felt a compulsion to be honest, her network handler would have quashed the story. Get used to it. Until folks pay more attention to journalistic integrity, the lies and spin will only increase.

Hold up a second, before you guess my political ideology let me make it known that there are two, only two, Republicans I will be voting for this fall on my ballot, John McCain and a friend running for State Rep. Everyone else I will be voting for is a Democrat.
I am a conservative though in my beliefs and I never began watching Fox News til a few years ago when I got sick of NBC and CNN, my old favorites!!! They blatantly were pushing for Kerry in 2004 and I got sick of it. My favorite show is Hannity and Colmes, the most fair and balanced show in TV. Conservatives and Liberals can argue their beliefs on the #1 cable news show at 9pm.
Kool-Aide my ass my friend, I am a smart voter that watches the #1 network on cable tv.

Funny, I never mentioned any "Political Ideology" in my post...you ASSUMED something...I simply mentioned what is humanly true...
THEY ALL HAVE AN AGENDA...unless Fox News is operated by robots and computers, they have an agenda...the truth is, you accept it, so you're blind and accept "Fair and Balanced"...
I don't...neither to I accept that NBC, ABC, CBS or CNN are not without an agenda...to deny that Fox has no agenda is just plain myopic...
And one program (H&C) does not make a network balanced...hell, CNN has Beck...they still tilt far left...just not as far as before Beck...

Normally, I'd agree with you, but there ARE two print journalists who are the ultimate in integrity. Unfortunately, they're not on this beat.
Check out Lori Gilbert at The Record in Stockton, CA (
www.recordnet.com) in the LENS section (formerly the best sportswriter who ever lived) and Amanda Dyer, the education beat writer at the Lodi News-Sentinel in Lodi, CA (
www.lodinews.com). Up until recently, I would have dropkicked the LNS (my hometown paper) over proofreading issues, but Dyer is the best young journalist in the country IMO. And Gilbert has year-in and year-out provided the stories, first in sports and then in her recent move to the local scene, that make a reader want more. Why these two haven't won Pulitzers yet is beyond me.
But, yes, these are two out of a zillion who can't get it right. I'll give you that.

I'll tell you who doesn't...
Mr. C

I don't know who Mr. C is, but I'll throw another name out who doesn't get it: J. A. Adande, formerly with that fishwrap known as the L.A. Times, but now apparently surviving on ESPN talking head shows. He goes out of his way to diss the Big West and would probably do the same to any other FCS/I-AAA program that somehow floats across his rather limited radar.
