I can't do it myself, because I'm not a registered Democrat, but I hope my Democrat brothers & sisters today serve notice to the country by sending Arlen Specter packing!!!

Joe Conklin's spoof of a Specter ad was hilarious, however!93henfan wrote:Specter was on WIP this morning trolling for votes. Cataldi's nose was so far up his ass it was pathetic. WIP's studio must be between two black churches.
I listened to the whole thing this morning. The only thin that I was put off by was yesterday, about 15 minutes after Specter called in they had a caller rip Specter & Angelo went on the defense pretty hard. If you're going to have him on there the day before/of the election, be prepared to hear the other side. Maybe we should all call in on the way to work tomorrow....Ivytalk wrote:Joe Conklin's spoof of a Specter ad was hilarious, however!93henfan wrote:Specter was on WIP this morning trolling for votes. I missed Conklin's bit, unfortunately. I'm right on the southern edge of WIP's coverage and when I get to the DE/MD line west of Dover it's gone. I heard Specter rattle off every friggin' pork project he swindled for PA, then he said how much he likes black people, Angelo kissed his ass, then they did a real ad where Ed Rendell said that Sestak was taking Specter's remarks out of context, and then I lost the station.Ivytalk wrote:Joe Conklin's spoof of a Specter ad was hilarious, however!93henfan wrote:Specter was on WIP this morning trolling for votes. Hey, with 125,000 shovels, it'll take awhile!93henfan wrote:Ivytalk wrote:

One thing that stuck out to me was when Specter said that deepening the port would bring in 125,000 new jobs. How is that possible? Philly only has 1.5M people in city proper/5M in metro area. Is deepening the port really going to create new jobs for almost 10% of the city? Smells like BS to me.
It's ovah! Specter is toast.93henfan wrote:Looks like we have a barnburner.
With 31% of precincts reporting, it's 50%/50%. Specter with 144K to Sestak's 142K.
