Arlen Spector is a total piece of shit. I hope he has a heart attack and dies today.

If it doesn't happen today, it's only a matter of time when November rolls around and Specter loses to Toomey. Either way, it's the end of the road for Specter and there really shouldn't be anyone crying over losing such a self-serving, pork barrelling, career politician. Good riddance.

Specter was on WIP this morning trolling for votes. Cataldi's nose was so far up his ass it was pathetic. WIP's studio must be between two black churches.

I will be embaressed for my state if Arlen wins. As a registered Rupublican I cannot vote against him in the primary, but he really, really needs to go.

Spector does need to lose today.

I listened to the whole thing this morning. The only thin that I was put off by was yesterday, about 15 minutes after Specter called in they had a caller rip Specter & Angelo went on the defense pretty hard. If you're going to have him on there the day before/of the election, be prepared to hear the other side. Maybe we should all call in on the way to work tomorrow....

I missed Conklin's bit, unfortunately. I'm right on the southern edge of WIP's coverage and when I get to the DE/MD line west of Dover it's gone. I heard Specter rattle off every friggin' pork project he swindled for PA, then he said how much he likes black people, Angelo kissed his ass, then they did a real ad where Ed Rendell said that Sestak was taking Specter's remarks out of context, and then I lost the station.

As sleazy as those fellas (Specter/Rendell) are, there's gotta be a sizeable portion of that state that loves them for all the money they bring in.

One thing that stuck out to me was when Specter said that deepening the port would bring in 125,000 new jobs. How is that possible? Philly only has 1.5M people in city proper/5M in metro area. Is deepening the port really going to create new jobs for almost 10% of the city? Smells like BS to me.
