WEST ALLIS - A bar owner could be in serious trouble with the federal government. A bartender was videotaped burning a statue of President Obama.
And the whole thing was video taped. Click Here to watch raw video of the incident.
So far, the bar owner hasn't explained why a bar tender torched the statue of the President a cheering crowd.
People in West Allis were shouting and laughing as a bar tender torched the statue for the crowd. Flames tore through the statue with what looks like duct tape wrapped around it's neck.

I couldn't get through on the link.
Absent any actual threats to Obama or the government or absent any violations of the local fire code, is there a law against burning people in effigy? Serious question, I really don't know. I think it's certainly in bad taste and I wouldn't want to be associated with it, for any President, but is it really illegal? Again, absent any other overt threats.

Bush was burned in effigy...
...by "Americans"...
...in the U.S....
...and the MSM and Donks discussed it from the viewpoint of validating their belief he was committing war crimes.
I'll do a quick Google for "Bush Burned in effigy, criminal complaint filed"...
...then hold my breath.
Donk double standard. Same ol', same ol'.

I doubt that any president has not been burned in effigy. I also doubt that anywhere has spent a day in prison for it.

Where was the outrage over this?

Or the outrage over any of the videos in the "related videos" section.
There are so many videos of threats against Bush, Bush effigy's being burned, etc... and yet I never heard about one of them.

ZOMG!!! They burned a president in effigy. Unheard of!
On a serious note, wouldn't you prefer burning in effigy to planning physical violence?

Dems are just totally bamboozled that the enlightened token couldn't unite the world into one big brown, white, purple, green planet with redistributed wealth taken from those who earned it and will fervently pout with anybody who doesn't agree to their visions of planet utopia.

I expected it to be a Shawano, WI bar, from what I've heard, home of the Posse Comatatis.

This goes beyond partisanship. Whether it's Bush or Obama or anyone else the President is not a King. The President is the CEO of the executive branch of government. That's all. The idea that there would even be a CHANCE that anyone would be in trouble for burning the President in effigy is outrageous.
The "Secret Service" is out of control. There shouldn't even be anything called the "Secret Service" in the United States'
