Bull. Maybe that's what the woman who started the movement had in mind, but if you look at some of the postings and rants on the actual pages it's nothing more than racism through the realm of hatred of Islam. Even she's since backtracked from her original position.bluehenbillk wrote:The whole movement is in protest to the threats made against Comedy Central & South Park depicting Muhammad.

There are plenty of ways to make statements regarding your right to free speech without offending millions of people. Instead, these people are sinking to the depths of humanity and selfishness. I have no respect for them.
Very similar argument that we have a lot down here in the South about the Confederate Flag.
Couldn't agree more.GSUAlumniEagle wrote: There are plenty of ways to make statements regarding your right to free speech without offending millions of people.
So, i would assume you have no respect for the muslims who seem to live in those same depths as they call for the murder of all who are not like them? And when's the last time a southern baptist preacher publicly called for the death of a black man who didn't agree with his views....weak comparison....GSUAlumniEagle wrote:Bull. Agree...quite frankly, I hope they are so offended, they decide to leave our society & take their chadas & burkhas with them....ALPHAGRIZ1 wrote:I know what your saying G but when it comes to that religion they get what they started. They also offend millions and dont give a flying fu*k if you like it or not.
Playing by their rules is fine by me and I dont care who offends them........I just hope it happens often.
Yup, pretty much.Appaholic wrote:So, i would assume you have no respect for the muslims who seem to live in those same depths as they call for the murder of all who are not like them?GSUAlumniEagle wrote:

Well, Scott Roeder killed a man based on religious fanaticism. Any religion, when distorted to it's extremes, can lead to violence. You've chosen to take that stand on Islam based on the actions of a relatively small percentage of people inside the faith. But that's where I'll end this discussion, because I know it's headed no where. And when's the last time a southern baptist preacher publicly called for the death of a black man who didn't agree with his views....weak comparison....
But what about when freedom of speech is considered offensive? Name all the ways you can make a statement regarding your right to free speech that doesn't offend this muzzie piece of shit.GSUAlumniEagle wrote:There are plenty of ways to make statements regarding your right to free speech without offending millions of people.bluehenbillk wrote:The whole movement is in protest to the threats made against Comedy Central & South Park depicting Muhammad.

Scott Roeder killed a man because he was a mentally ill anti-abortion militant, or are you saying people who are pro-life are "religious fanatics"?GSUAlumniEagle wrote: Well, Scott Roeder killed a man based on religious fanaticism. C'mon Baldy. Stop skewing my argument. Of course I'm not saying all pro-lifers are insane. Did you read my post? Here, read it again:Baldy wrote:Scott Roeder killed a man because he was a mentally ill anti-abortion militant, or are you saying people who are pro-life are "religious fanatics"?GSUAlumniEagle wrote: Well, Scott Roeder killed a man based on religious fanaticism.
