NG troops have jobs and mortgages to pay, it would be a bad idea to mobilize them indefinitely to chase Mexicans around the desert who are just looking for some lawns to mow. That's what the cops are for. Well, that and concocting gunfight hoaxes.

AZ adopted a law that allows the police to do their jobs and enforce the law, yet the Government in Washington buckles to the Mexicans, Calderon and their support groups. Yes, I'm aware that the 9/11 terrorists entered through Canada. But you can't keep this country and it's people safe by having the southern border wide ass open. This has been going on since Reagan granted amnesty to illegal aliens in 86 and the problem has never been fixed. Anyone who thinks we can't secure the border is an idiot. That's why when Bush and now Obama constantly say..."we're a nation at war." No were not. Congress never declared war in Iraq and Afghanistan. We're fighting an idea and a faceless enemy that could be anywhere at anytime. It only takes one person. Yeah, illegal aliens are breaking into this country just to mow yards.
