What is it that makes Obama so different from other Presidents?
Skin color? Yes, but that doesn't even make the top ten. It only makes his racism more paradoxical and his claims to be a post-racial President more farcical.
Racist friends and outlook? True, but that does not make him unique.
Tin ear, failure to grasp economics, corruption, hyper-partisanship, high-handed approach, incompetence, lack of connection with regular people? Also true, but regretfully, these qualities are hardly unique among Presidents. His combination of all of these attributes does rank him among the worst Presidents ever and may, in fact, make him unique.
Communist upbringing? Check!
Friendship with convicted terrorists? Check!
Kowtowing to foreign leaders? Check!
Insulting foreign allies? Check!
Siding with illegal aliens and foreign leaders over his own people? Check!
Lack of appreciation for traditional American values? Check!
Extreme deficit spending? Check! Obama is #1 by a great margin.
Overt socialism? Check!
Lack of respect for the U.S. Constitution? Check! In this case, it is his overt and extreme lack of respect which make him unique among Presidents.
What stupid, irresponsible thing can Obama do that will top the last stupid, irresponsible thing he has done? Obama's extreme and previously unimaginable missteps have stretched our imaginations. Whatever Obama's next miscue, it is likely to once again be unique in the annals of the Presidency.
