...wonder why this isn't being discussed on the MSM?

Imagine if Michelle Bachmann had smacked a camera out of a citizen's hand, grabbed his arm and began repeating "Who are you? Who are you? Who are you?"..."I have a right to know", then grabbed the man around the neck, pulled him close and continued repeating the same.

Pelosi would have a crew of white coats waiting for her removal.

America asked for it, and they got it...

BTW, the correct answer to repeated "Who are you?" queries is "Haywood Jablome"...

I dunno, the good congressman appeared to have both size and strength on his side - I think the "student" would've gotten pummelled AND arrested - much better to have him just make Etheridge look like a total assclown...

Would someone explain to me why that guy isn't sitting in a jail cell right now? He committed assault. He should be sitting with the crackheads and meth addicts in the county lockup awaiting a bond hearing.

Well if I were the kid who was getting smacked around, I'd be in deep negotiations with his office. Those politicians have access to large amounts of cash.

What's funny as HELL in this video is how at the end it goes from horse-collar to a "hug" when he seems to finally realize he's being filmed.

Couldn't agree more. The opportunity to defend yourself against an attack and turn that mother fuckers jaw into Graham Cracker dust will not pass your way twice. If I were that kid I am not sure I could live with the regret of my inaction.

After watching the video again, I agree. It does look like he could be intoxicated.

Is it possible we might see this footage or the earlier footage of Etheridge berating a Marine at a Towh Hall meeting in the upcoming election?

NC-2 is supposedly an "R+2" district, slightly Republican leaning. Does Renee Ellmers have a chance to knock off Etheridge? NC-2 looks to be a suburban district of Raleigh. Could be a bellwether.

Listening to CBS talk radio coming home tonight...

...they had some psychologist on who had studied the tape and was sure Ethridge was drunk. One of the CBS gals started defending Ethridge's actions due to inebriation...and the psychologist cut her off and remarked (to the effect), "Is this the kind of person we should be entrusting our lives and national security to?"

Fucking spot on.

Ethridge should resign.
