White House Jester Beheaded For Making Fun Of Soaring National Debt
WASHINGTON—After serving 12 years in the position, Motley, the official White House Jester, was beheaded Tuesday after delivering a poorly received jape about the spiraling national debt before President and Mrs. Obama.

"For crimes of great arrogance and cheek, His Idiocy the White House Jester has been sentenced to a swift demise," White House Press Secretary Robert Gibbs said following the death sentence. "Let it be heard over every city and suburb of this land that the National Debt is no topic for frivolity, and the mailed hand of Obama shall smite all offenders."

Meanwhile, administration officials cynically use the FCC to silence the opposition and shamelessly raid the public treasury to reward political allies.

From the Onion.... oooops! This one is real!

Its called Respect for the Commander and Chief. What if Gen Powell called Bush a "Azz Hat" for not listing to the Advice of a Former General and a good one at that. FUEX News would be all over that calling him a Traitor.

But its the REPUKE double standard at work.

First, Republican Colin Powell did not exhibit the same unprofessional irresponsibility as Democrat Stanley McChrystal.

Second, Bush's failure to listen more carefully to his Secretary of State is miniscule compared to Obama's failures in Afghanistan and in communicating effectively with his military leadership.

Finally, your proposition is absurd. Presidents regularly cultivate and receive conflicting advice from generals, as they should. There is rarely a tight consensus among the general officers.

The only double standard in play is that the political class and the mainstream media - not Fox News - hold Democrats to a much lower standard of behavior.

What the Hell does this mean. Our job is to kill the Enemy...PERIOD!!!! They have more Troops to do the Job not get it done and go Home. Blame Bush for screwing Afghanistan up as well as Iraq. And you guys voted for this man twice.........................lol

To kill the enemy one must be able to reliably and consistently identify the enemy, klean.

native, it seems that you've drawn out perhaps the most ignorant military-related statements I've ever seen. Good job.

klean apparently has never served. These bogus comments tend to come from those who have never spent one day in uniform....

The sad thing is that klean has apparently served, SH. We shudder to think that he might actually be sincere in some of his over the top comments. But I take kleanie with a grain of salt. I have made a few over the top comments myself.

 Yes, The Onion is awashed with conservative thought. Thanks for chiming in mrklown. BTW, both the "REPUKES" and the Democraps are guilty of double standards...of course, don't let truth get in your way.

I love The Onion, it's great.

Klean served allright....

He was one of those lowlife 'detritus of society' people that John Kerry so affectionately referred to during the 2004 campaign.

But, Klean has gone on to refute the honorable SEN Kerry by making something of himself by using his skills learned in the Army... to become a janitor. (and a local villiage idiot on a college football forum)
