She's an intriguing candidate, and really like the message. That, and she's an "ethnic" female to boot. I wish Georgia had a rogue, anti-establishment republican front-runner in the gubernatorial race but alas, the state is too big for any such candidate to have a chance.

I tend to avoid voting for people based on their looks or ethnicity.

gonna do loads of research on both her and Sheheen and come November, will make my decision at the polls.

From what I understand she is Sanford politically (hopefully not morally ) but with more of an attitude toward working with the legislature than Sanford could ever muster. If that is the case and the legislature finally understands that SC wants a small conservative government, she could not only be a good looking governor but a damn successful one. Of course, I tend toward cynicism when it comes to any politician but I have my fingers crossed.

There is no doubt that the republican establishment is not happy with her nomination which makes her even more Intriguing. The state has way too much crony capitalism.

Nikki Haley was my least favorite candidate. I can't vote yet, and I like democrats more on the local level, but I wouldn't vote for her. That may change for her reelection if she does ok in office.

BTW, I don't know if I will vote for her or not. I am somewhat ashamed of my lack of knowledge in the individual candidates. Interesting that I am still interested in politics, but so fed up with politicians I generally avoid contact even from the distance of a news print.

I'm not sure. Politically, she is Mark Sanford. Morally....she is Barney Frank (she fucks dudes). An associate of mine, with the solicitor's office, says that they have photographic evidence of one affair.

From a movie star celebrity aspect she isn't close to "hot", but from a governor aspect I would put her close to the top. However, if you have another candidate I am certain we all would be appreciative of any evidence supplied.

Will Folks was being followed by a PI for a some reason at the same time he had his affair with Nikki the Hickie (that's my nickname for her). This where we get the photo's that we've all heard (and are dying to see). Folks has always been a huge supporter of Haley and is endorsing her now. If folks was lying, then where are the suits for libel, defamation of character, etc...?
