Wonder how much this case will cost the taxpayer? I really don't want to hear one lawyer here ever complain about government spending.

VINELAND, N.J. (AP) ― A southern New Jersey man who authorities say caused a deadly crash while fleeing police in a stolen vehicle has sued the officers who pursued him.
Michael Jones claims the Vineland officers were negligent in chasing him at high speeds. He blames them for the March 30 accident that left him injured and killed an 81-year-old man.
The 46-year-old Bridgeton man seeks $1.25 million in damages in the lawsuit filed Friday in federal court. Jones, who was charged with felony murder and eluding, remains in the Cumberland County Jail.
Vineland police declined comment.
Prosecutors say Jones stole a hospital's paramedic vehicle in Franklinville, then drove south to Vineland, where police spotted him and started a pursuit.
Police have said they broke off the pursuit shortly before the collision.

We do have a system of lawyers by lawyers and for lawyers...
Events such as this fall right into the system as it was designed

You obviously didn't take any philosophy classes at Idaho State...
Observing things in their present state is not fatalism
Predicting the eventual doom of a system
and it's inevitable decline with no chance of effective intervention is fatalism
Making note of a systems design and it's present status is NOT fatalist

get that straight

The Decline of the West?

Because, like Galileo I adhere to Copernican Theory...

I crack myself up (seriously I do)
Actually because Spengler is a douche nozzle and a pompous ass and Stillman Drake has done more to shape my view of the world through a detailed study of the Renaissance and mans ability to ascend, mans ability to intellectually transform...

You are in some SERIOUS denial if you don't think that statement describes you PERFECTLY. Right down to your starched and ironed t-shirts.
