Can anyone here please explain to me just how the space agency of the US is going to help bring Americans closer to the Muslims of the world? Other than flying me over to the middle east really, really quickly, I just can't figure this one out...

Haven't read much about it, but I think the issue is that since we work with other foreign countries (Russia, China, etc.) in space exploration, NASA wants to work with scientists from the Middle East too, including up and coming college kids from those countries. Have to look more into it though...

Just what we need, a bunch of Jihads taking bombs (assuming we and Russia haven't already done this) into the final frontier... :ohno:

I can't believe him. He does't want NASA to do what they are supposed to do but he does this. This is not what NASA is supposed to do.

He's just a government bureaucrat. The NASA administrator is nothing more than a caretaker of the government titty that dangles into NASA's mouth.

It is no different from a certain former surgeon general talking about how we need to have safer bullets.

The government mouthpieces do their talking, but nobody should mistake that talk as coming from industry experts. Science will continue to happen at NASA regardless of how politically in the clouds the leadership is.
