Wow, that's funny. In Tennessee, what does it take to run for Governor? In most states, it takes cash and a certain number of signatures by registered voters to get on the ballot. Obviously, the guy doesn't have it all together. This is a practical joke
There have been a few hundred thousand people that have viewed this talk on Youtube. How many people do you think will vote for him in the primary?
2,500 Votes
Over or Under?
It's Tennessee. I think over.

But none of them can match the pure awesomeness of everyone's favorite dark horse candidate, Al Greene.

What's even more funny is that Al Greene is legit, all the press vilified him, but once you actually check into the guy... he's straight up (besides that felony assault), just not well spoken.

This guy obviously has a screw loose. There are nutjob candidates all over the country from every party imagineable.
There is one difference here, unlike Alvin Greene and Kesha Rogers, at least he won't actually get the nomination for his party.

OK, with the publicity he is getting, things are changing in Tennessee. I imagine there are billboards going up that say, "Let's get drunk and vote for Marceaux!!" I have a new game, now you have to pick the number of votes that he will receive. Winner will be selected "Price is Right style". The closest to the number without going over will be the winner.
If the winner goes to the National Championship game in Frisco, TX, I'll give them $100 for winning the Basil Marceaux contest. If you do not go to the game, you only receive bragging rights.
My pick - 4783 votes

Basil needs to bring the FCS Championship back to Tennessee. I'm going to email him about this and tell him to take this up and add it to his platform.

Especially since he is moving the capital to Chatty.
I'm gonna guess Basil get's 10% of the vote, whatever that equates to in votes.
