EVERYBODY is asking Rangel to resign, meaning that there are plenty of crooks from both sides of the aisle doing it.

This post just begs for SK or one of his butt buddies to post some article from HuffPo showing how Richard Nixon was channeled by Nancy Reagan, asking Rangel to resign.

And apparently Charlie is going to use the "Other people are oding it...why are you picking on me" defense...

Rep. Charles B. Rangel (D-N.Y.) has chosen a less-than-collegial defense to charges that he violated House ethics rules when he asked corporate donors with legislative interests to give to an academic center bearing his name.

He was not the only lawmaker to solicit donations in this manner, his lawyers argue, saying that peers who did the same thing were not punished.

Thats what I gathered from all of this, I mean seriously Rangel and Waters two black Congress "people" are being singled out, simply because they have great tans.

I have wondered about this. The Democrats do after all control the House but they have allowed 2 ethics cases to go forward against 2 of their black members. Coincidence? Strategy? Who knows? It's interesting who they have decided to persecute, er, prosecute.

Oh its totally strategy, if these guys were white like Kennedy, Biden, Dodd etc they would fight to the end defending them saying its just a misunderstanding.

But since they are black they are gonna turn on them (the way they have on the black community for the last 50 years) and politically lynch them to make it seem like they are a party of morals and virtue. They have too do this since they have spent the last 2 years proving otherwise.

And lets face it they dont give a fu*k what the public thinks, ie Obamacare and the AZ immigration bill.
