The minimum recovery goal for wolves in the northern Rocky Mountains was set at a minimum of 30 breeding pairs—successfully reproducing wolf packs—and a minimum of 300 individual wolves for at least three consecutive years. however, I'm willing to allow the extermination of all wolves for a 50% reduction in the human tourist population within NC mtns during the summer....

Agree. But the tax rate will lower & quality of life (when driving) will improve....& having a majority of your workforce dependent upon the Tourist/Service Industry isn't exactly the sign of a robust economy to begin with...but I concede your serious point regarding my attempt (apparantly weak) in making a humorous staement regarding having to deal with touristas every weekend....
