A woman was on the dance floor after midnight at Drink, a downtown Minneapolis bar, when a man she didn't know grabbed her waist from behind and rubbed against her, she told police.

Then the woman felt wetness on the back of her shorts and bare legs, and it became apparent the man had completed a sex act, she reported.

Based on that report, 36-year-old Jose Angel Olivar Sanchez was in the Hennepin County Jail on Friday, facing a count of fifth-degree criminal sexual conduct, a gross misdemeanor, and a count of indecent exposure, a misdemeanor.

In a statement to police through an interpreter, Olivar Sanchez allegedly admitted that he became aroused while dancing behind the woman and that he exposed himself, touched her bare leg and masturbated. He said the woman didn't give him permission to do so, the complaint said.
